We are still in need of a few volunteers to help the board of officers with event planning, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Meetings and speakers for the meetings and youth engagement.  Please contact me, or any member of the board, or email info@fttu.org if you would like to talk about becoming more involved in the chapter.

In the Great Lakes, we have access to one of the greatest freshwater resources in the world. With this freshwater resource comes an abundance of life, especially in and around the Maumee River. Fishing on the Maumee and surrounding freshwater ecosystems are one of many joys of living in the Northwest Ohio region. Unfortunately, improperly disposed of fishing line is an entanglement hazard for wildlife that depends on the Maumee River. In this short presentation, Partners for Clean Streams will discuss the impacts of fishing lines in our streams and offer solutions to help make our relationship with our waterways more sustainable.

There is no charge for this presentation. It is free and open to the public.

Summer Break

Our April online meeting is likely to be our last online meeting of the season. We traditionally break after April until September. Hopefully we will be able to begin in person meetings again in September!

Please keep an eye out for our emails during the summer. Even though we may not have regular members meetings, we may have events, stream cleanings, etc. that you may want to know about.

See you on the stream!
